Questions

Does anything leave my browser?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your files are never uploaded — it even works offline once the page has loaded.
What does it compare?
The text. It compares every word in the two PDFs. It does not look at images, figures or scanned pages.
Which PDFs work?
Text-based PDFs. If a page is just a scan or an image there is no text to read, so it is skipped.
Can I leave out references and appendices?
Yes. One toggle sets aside reference lists, appendices (bilagor) and the table of contents.
What does it cost?
Nothing. No sign-up, no file-size limits.
